    Gao jun's grandfather,grandmother,father and mother have all passd away .Gao jun is HIV positlve. What will become of him? AOS found him, and placed him in an AOS supported family aiso affected by HIV/AIDS. All of Gao jun's expenses are paid for by AOS. In the past two years,the changes with Gao jun have been remarkable; once a child that barely spoke and rarely smiled, he now speaks and smiles with ease. His health has improved immensely on the medicines that AOS provides him. Soon he will begin kindergarten.

    Nan Nan is now 16. Both her father and mother have passed away due to AIDS, and Nan Nan is also infected with HIV. When Nan Nan was found by AOS director Zhang Ying, she was very ill and had full-blown AIDS. Zhang Ying immediately took her to one of the only hospitals that treat children with HIV/AIDS in Beijing. American Professor Kay Johnson brought her medicine.Under the care of AOS, Nan Nan's life has furned around. She now lives with her uncle and aunt, and has since returned to the school that once shunned her because of her illness. Nan Nan is very happy now, and looks forward to a future filled with infinite possibilities.
